karad Water Supply Scheme
This ongoing water infrastructure project, valued at approximately ₹55 crore, began around six months ago and involves the laying of 44 km of DI pipeline. Key components include the construction of four ESRs (two of 15 lakh liters, one of 16 lakh liters, and one of 11 lakh liters), and the dismantling of two existing ESRs. The scope also covers the construction of a pump house at the jackwell, a recirculation sump at the WTP, and installation of raw and pure water pumping machinery. Additionally, the project includes house service connections, automation of the water supply scheme, and the design, supply, and commissioning of alum agitators, flash mixers, CLF, and filters at the 15 and 18 MLD water treatment plants in Karad.
